Fabric Techniques 12x12 swap

This is my contribute for the Fabric Techniques 12 x 12 Aril 22, 2009 with Lenna Andrews

I have explored what I have on my hand and used that, so I haven´t bought anything new. This fabric have I dyed some years ago. Now I took my favorite stamp with Swedish text, and stamped with waterproof ink. I dyed some cheesecloth in blue and pink. And I use a phototransfer on silkfabric from an earlier collage in fabric-paper that I have done. Under the silk is an old noteapaper from the fleamarket. I have freehandsembroidered over the piece, and discovered that the notepaper was a good help as surface. The sweet girl is in paper, the butterflies in transparency and there is some mother-of-pearl buttons and a yoyo as embellishment.

Now I will send this to Lenna Andrews in USA, and I am curious which quiltie I got in return. And to see all the others contributes. We are 40 in the swap, so be sure you visit the blog Creative Lenna

Hej!
